Beef Salami Pizza Board

Beef Salami Pizza Board

Serves: 6 | Cooking Time: 10 min

Classic pizza toppings become shareable components: shredded mozzarella piled high, briny black olives, thin-sliced red onion, and fresh whole basil leaves scattered across the board for color and aroma. A warm ramekin of marinara anchors the layout, pulling double duty as a rich dipping sauce and a pizza-style spread.

Guests can graze on the salami as-is, build open-faced bites, or use the board as a topping station alongside flatbreads, crostini, or homemade pizza dough. It's a crowd-pleaser that comes together in under 20 minutes and works for everything from casual Friday nights to game day spreads.

Ingredients

  • 3 oz Brooklyn Cured Spicy Beef Salami, Presliced

  • Pizza dough, crusty bread, or crackers for your "crust"

  • 1 cup black olives, drained

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella

  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves

  • 1 cup marinara sauce

  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400°
  2. Thinly slice red onion into half-moons. For a milder flavor, soak in cold water for 10 minutes then pat dry.
  3. Drain black olives and pat dry. Pick fresh basil leaves from stems and keep whole.
  4. Gently warm marinara in a small saucepan over low heat, then transfer to a small ramekin for dipping and spreading.
  5. Open Brooklyn Cured Beef Salami and fan or fold slices into halves or quarters.
  6. Place the marinara ramekin on the board first.
  7. Add shredded mozzarella , olives, red onion, basil and other pizza toppings of your choosing.
  8. Take your bread or pizza dough base, and assemble your pizza.
  9. Bake at 400° for 5-10 minutes until desired doneness is achieved.
